Case study · The Pocket Cafe · Botanical identity celebrating Pocket Wilderness
Objective
Named for the Pocket Wilderness Area, which houses one of the most diverse botanical concentrations in the United States. The identity needed to honor this ecological significance while creating a warm, inviting cafe experience.
Solution
A botanical-themed identity system. Early iterations maintained elaborate concepts; the final version delivered a streamlined, sophisticated solution that captured the natural richness of the surrounding landscape without overwhelming the brand.
Special Features
Commissioned photography from a former National Geographic Senior Photo Editor. Flora portraits displayed as gallery installations throughout the space. Prismatic walnut signage completes the botanical narrative.
